Strangest hallucinations while on Ambien (or other sleep aids)?
I was recently put on the sleeping pill Ambien. Usually I just pass out in about 20 mins and that's that. Last night however was a very different experience I totally started trippin' out!! first i saw trails then lights like the clock and computer started jumping around, things were looking at me with creepy stares a family member told me I had said i understood why things worked and began talking about molecules. I remember there was no blank air it was all solid sorta like if you're under water and I could move them (the molecules)...
Today I did some research to see how common Ambien hallucinations were and thought it might be fun/ comforting to hear other peoples hallucinogenic experience with the drug.

well once i took three more than i was suppose to because i was really stressed and didnt want to wake up for a long time. but instead of feeling drowsy and blanking out, little tiny bugs came crawling out of my bed. i definately dont like bugs so i jumped on my chair and tried to get something to throw at the bugs. the nearest thing towards me was the bookshelf, so i took tons of books and threw it on the floor. then i took the bookshelf and threw that down too. all this while my parents told me i was screaming "ah!!! die!! get off!! DIIEEEE!!!" my parents told me they phoned the doctor about me hallucinating and the doctor suggested to my parents to not try and shake my sences back. i obviously couldnt go back to my bed, so i spent the night trying to kill these bugs. then, after i made a mess, the bugs were gone. and this strange thing happened. when i was trying to reach my bed, the whole bed grew, and the mattress was bigger than me. it was too big to reach up top so i triend to climb the bed. thats when i fell down the stairs and my dad poured cold water on me.
